Visiting Us
Whether visiting by air or road, Hull Aero Club is easy to find with Linley Hill Airfield located near to the village of Leven just to the north of Beverley. The airfield operates under a Civil Aviation Authority licence and this extends from 09:00 to dusk in winter months and 09:00 till 21:00 or dusk during the summer. On Mondays we operate a non-licensed service but also perform airfield maintenance on this day so be sure to call before setting off!
Visiting by Road
Our airfield is located near to the village of Leven. You should aim for Beverley and then take the A1035 towards Hornsea. At the Leven roundabout take the first exit [signposted ‘Airfield’] and pass into Leven village [noting the 20 mile/h limit!] and turn left at the Post Office into West Street [also signposted ‘Airfield’] and follow the road until you reach an un-metalled track. The airfield is then about 1 mile further on. Please do not exceed 12 mile/h on this track.Download Visiting us by Road PDF

Our airfield [EGNY] is located at 53 53·90N 000 21·68W which is 4nm to the NE of Beverley at 15.1nm on the 325° radial from OTR. The most conspicuous feature nearby is a pair of lakes to the NW of the field. The downwind leg for Group A fixed-wing aircraft lies through the centre of the D-shaped lake at 1000ft.Rotary aircraft and microlights have a lower level 700ft inner circuit as indicated in the diagram which can be downloaded via the link below.
Paramotors have a maneouvering area below 700’ to the deadside of the circuit as shown. For purposes of landing and taking off the active area of the airfield is used under advice from the A/G operator.
Irrespective of the type of aircraft involved, the villages of Leven and Brandesburton are not to be overflown and caution is to be exercised with regard to SAR helicopter operations out of RAF Leconfield nearby. Note that a shared R/T frequency applies [123.05 MHz]
