Finding the Club
The club is situated near to the village
of Leven, 6 miles North East of Beverley. If you are travelling
by car from Beverley, take the A1035 and turn off into Leven
village at the A165 roundabout. At the Hare & Hounds Public
House, turn left onto West Street following the Airfield signpost
for approximately 2 miles.
If you are without transport there are bus
services from Hull, Beverley and Driffield and coastal towns,
some of which go through Leven. There are also regular train
services from Hull to Beverley.
The flying club cannot offer accomodation
but the Billabong caravan site os only a few miles from the
airfield at Hempholme Road, Brandesburton. |
